Remote Event Coordinator - Sports

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Event Coordinator to manage a portfolio of sports-related events. Operating entirely remotely, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of various sporting functions, from small-scale competitions to larger tournaments. This role requires excellent project management skills, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including athletes, sponsors, venues, and volunteers, all from your home office. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all logistical aspects of assigned sports events, including scheduling, venue booking, and vendor coordination.
• Develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Coordinate communication between all event stakeholders, including participants, staff, and partners.
• Develop and implement event marketing and promotion strategies.
• Oversee event execution on the day (virtually or on-site as needed), troubleshooting issues proactively.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and preparing comprehensive reports for future planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within the sports industry.
• Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
