Remote Event Planner - Virtual Experiences

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and highly organized Remote Event Planner specializing in virtual and hybrid experiences. In this fully remote position, you will be instrumental in designing, coordinating, and executing engaging online events for a global audience. You will manage all aspects of virtual event production, from initial concept development and platform selection to attendee engagement and post-event analysis. This role is perfect for an innovative planner who excels in a remote setting and is passionate about crafting memorable digital experiences that foster connection and achieve client objectives, working independently and collaboratively with a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of virtual and hybrid events , including webinars, conferences, product launches, and team-building activities.
• Manage event logistics, including platform selection and configuration, speaker coordination, technical support, and attendee registration.
• Develop engaging content strategies, interactive elements, and networking opportunities for virtual attendees.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and drive event registration.
• Oversee event budgets, manage vendor relationships, and ensure seamless execution on event days.
• Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and provide comprehensive reports on event success and ROI.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning , with a significant focus on virtual and hybrid events.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing event technology platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent, Bizzabo).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in event design and delivery.
• Proficiency in event budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
