About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and organised Remote Event Planner to join their dynamic team, supporting events across various sectors. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the planning and execution of engaging and successful events. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept development through to post-event analysis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to manage events effectively in a virtual setting. This is a prime opportunity for a skilled planner to leverage their expertise in a flexible, remote-first environment, managing a diverse portfolio of events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and execute a variety of virtual and hybrid events, ensuring seamless logistics and attendee experience.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and secure necessary resources.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and content strategies to meet client objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, speakers, and sponsors to ensure all event elements are aligned.
- Provide comprehensive post-event reports, including analysis of feedback and key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Event Planner or Event Coordinator, with a portfolio showcasing successful events.
- Exceptional organisational, project management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and virtual event platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
