About the Role

Our client is a leading event management company seeking a highly organized and creative Remote Event Planning Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of virtual and hybrid events. This role requires an individual adept at leveraging technology to create engaging and successful online experiences. You will be responsible for all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization and vendor management to execution and post-event analysis, all while working from a remote location. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of virtual event platforms and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of virtual and hybrid events, including webinars, conferences, and team-building activities.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure all financial aspects of the event are handled efficiently.
• Liaise with clients, speakers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Utilize and manage various virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Hopin, Cvent) to deliver engaging online experiences.
• Develop event timelines, project plans, and communication strategies to ensure successful event execution.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during live virtual events, ensuring a smooth participant experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning , with a specific focus on virtual or hybrid events.
• Demonstrated proficiency with virtual event platforms and event management software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships virtually.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
