About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Facilities Hygiene Manager to oversee and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across their diverse portfolio of properties from a remote location. This senior role involves developing and implementing hygiene strategies, monitoring compliance through digital means, and managing relationships with external cleaning contractors. You will play a crucial part in maintaining safe, healthy, and professional environments for employees and visitors, all while working from home. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures for all company sites.
• Manage relationships with third-party cleaning service providers, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments of cleaning standards and practices, utilising data analytics and virtual tools.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
• Develop and deliver training programs on hygiene best practices for site staff and cleaning teams.
• Analyse hygiene-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in facilities management, hygiene services, or a related field, with a strong focus on compliance and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and third-party service providers effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning science, hygiene best practices, and relevant legislation (e.g., COSHH, health and safety at work).
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using digital platforms for communication, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
