About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to manage and streamline maintenance operations across multiple sites. This role is critical for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational, all coordinated from a remote location. You will be the primary point of contact for maintenance requests, coordinating with in-house teams and external contractors to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your organizational skills in a fully remote capacity, contributing to the smooth running of diverse facilities without the need for on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and prioritize all incoming facilities maintenance requests from various stakeholders.
- Coordinate and schedule routine and emergency maintenance tasks with in-house technicians and external service providers.
- Obtain quotes, process work orders, and manage contractor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and repair history.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all managed facilities.
- Communicate effectively with building managers, tenants, and staff regarding maintenance schedules and updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a facilities management , coordination, or administrative role, preferably with maintenance responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong IT proficiency, including experience with facilities management software, CRM systems, and standard office applications.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lianaise professionally with various parties.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines consistently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
