About the Role

Our client is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Remote Field Service Coordinator to manage the scheduling and dispatch of their technical service team. This fully remote role is critical in ensuring efficient deployment of engineers for installation and maintenance tasks across various client locations. You will be the central point of contact, coordinating schedules, managing travel logistics, and ensuring that all service appointments are handled seamlessly. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent logistical planning skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, virtual environment and supporting a mobile workforce from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch field service engineers for installation, maintenance, and repair jobs.
• Optimise engineer routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time.
• Act as the primary point of contact for field engineers, providing support and information.
• Manage service requests and update customer records accurately in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely parts delivery and service completion.
• Prepare reports on service performance, engineer utilisation, and job completion rates.

Requirements

• Previous experience in scheduling, dispatch, or operations coordination, preferably in a field service context.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and CRM systems.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, effective for remote collaboration.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Installation & Maintenance processes is advantageous.
