About the Role

This role is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for providing expert technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for complex machinery and systems, primarily through remote diagnostics and virtual assistance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment failures using advanced monitoring tools and systems.
- Provide virtual technical guidance and support to on-site client personnel during installation and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for remote support processes and technical solutions.
- Identify recurring issues and propose proactive solutions or system improvements to reduce the need for on-site interventions.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay field feedback and contribute to product enhancement strategies.
- Manage your remote work environment effectively, ensuring availability and responsiveness during core business hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar technical support role, with a strong emphasis on remote support capabilities.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
- Excellent understanding of network connectivity and remote access tools for troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide non-technical users effectively.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
