About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a strategic and highly competent Remote Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of the company from any UK location. This key leadership position is responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring financial integrity, compliance with regulations, and providing critical financial insights to support business strategy. You will lead a distributed finance team, drive process improvements, and maintain robust internal controls. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury.
• Develop, implement, and enforce robust internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial discipline and strategic alignment.
• Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to executive leadership and department heads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in accounting and financial management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and UK corporate tax regulations.
• Proven experience with financial systems, ERP implementation, and advanced analytical tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for remote team management.
