About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Financial Modeler to join their advisory services team, operating entirely remotely across the UK. This role is critical in building, maintaining, and refining complex financial models for a variety of purposes, including valuation, forecasting, and transaction analysis. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver insightful and accurate financial projections that support strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who excels at building robust models and communicating complex financial concepts effectively in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop bespoke financial models for M&A, project finance, and corporate valuation.
- Build robust forecasting models for revenue, expenses, and cash flows.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess financial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure models are accurate, well-documented, and easy to understand for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary data and assumptions.
- Support due diligence processes by verifying financial information and model inputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in financial modeling, preferably within consulting or investment banking.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA for automation where appropriate.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
