About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Remote Fleet Administrator to manage administrative aspects of their transport operations from a home-based location. This role is essential for maintaining accurate records, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will be a key support for the fleet management team, leveraging technology to keep operations running smoothly across the UK without the need for office presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all vehicles in the fleet, including registration, insurance, and maintenance logs.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOTs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Process and manage fleet-related documentation, such as fuel cards, toll charges, and penalty notices.
- Assist with driver compliance checks and ensure all necessary licenses and certifications are current.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, maintenance providers, and internal stakeholders regarding fleet status and requirements.
- Generate reports on fleet utilization, costs, and maintenance activities as required by management.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience, preferably within a fleet or transport environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage remote interactions effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing tasks and deadlines proactively.
