About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Remote Fleet Coordinator to manage their transportation logistics from a remote work setting. This role involves overseeing a fleet of vehicles, optimizing routes, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all transport regulations. You will be the central point of contact for drivers and operational teams, using digital tools to monitor fleet performance and address issues. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the company's vehicle fleet remotely using fleet management software.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, including driver hours and vehicle safety standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate fleet records and generate performance reports for management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or a similar transport planning role.
- Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations and fleet management best practices.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and general office applications.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for remote interaction.
