About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Remote Fleet Management Specialist to manage and optimize their vehicle fleet operations from a remote setting. You will be responsible for overseeing maintenance programs, managing telematics data, ensuring regulatory adherence, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain our fleet to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement proactive vehicle maintenance schedules and repair strategies to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the utilization and analysis of fleet telematics data to monitor vehicle performance, driver behavior, and safety metrics.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, licensing, and environmental standards.
• Manage relationships with external service providers, including maintenance shops, fuel suppliers, and leasing companies.
• Analyze fleet operational costs, identify savings opportunities, and manage the fleet budget effectively.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive fleet policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of vehicle operations and maintenance.
• Expertise in utilizing fleet management software and telematics systems for data analysis and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance requirements, and safety best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for a remote working environment.
