Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive forest management plans tailored to client objectives and ecological considerations.

• Provide expert consultation on sustainable harvesting practices, reforestation strategies, and conservation efforts.
• Analyse data related to forest growth, yield, and environmental impact to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to clients and relevant authorities.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, regulations, and best practices in forest ecology and management.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in forest management or conservation.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver results in a remote work environment.
• Strong understanding of forest inventory techniques, silviculture, and ecological principles.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
