Remote FPGA Firmware Engineer – Defence Systems

Akkodis is seeking a Firmware / FPGA Engineer to join our Defence practice in the United Kingdom. You will contribute to the full lifecycle of high-performance FPGA-based systems, combining RTL design, verification and documentation in a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes DO-254 and safety/security compliance, with a predominantly remote work model and monthly on-site attendance. Prior defence experience is advantageous and MATLAB/Simulink workflows are used.
