Remote Frontend Developer (React)

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented Remote Frontend Developer specializing in React to join their fully distributed engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a remote environment and is passionate about building performant, user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into functional, responsive, and engaging interfaces. Working collaboratively with backend developers and designers, you will contribute to the entire lifecycle of new features, from concept and development to deployment and maintenance, ensuring a high-quality user experience for all our digital products, regardless of user location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and responsive frontend code using React and associated libraries.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Implement new features and enhance existing ones on the company's web applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API) and frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote , collaborative team environment.
