About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Geological Data Analyst to join their fully remote team, supporting exploration and resource management efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, processing, and interpreting vast amounts of geological data collected from various sources, including exploration drilling, geophysical surveys, and existing mine databases. Your insights will be crucial in identifying trends, validating data quality, and supporting geological modeling for resource estimation and mine planning. Key Responsibilities

• Manage, clean, and validate large geological datasets from diverse sources.
• Develop and implement workflows for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify geological trends and patterns.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of geological databases and models.
• Generate reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate data insights to geologists and management.
• Collaborate remotely with geologists and other team members to support exploration and resource projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geosciences, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in geological data analysis or management.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
• Experience with geological databases and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Strong understanding of geological principles and terminology.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
