Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update geographical databases for exploration and operational sites.
• Create high-quality maps, spatial analyses, and visualizations using GIS software to support geological and engineering teams.
• Perform spatial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of interest for exploration or operational efficiency.
• Integrate various data sources (e.g., geological, environmental, logistical) into the GIS platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a GIS Specialist , preferably within the mining or natural resources sector.
• Expertise in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
• Strong skills in spatial analysis , database management, and cartography.
• Familiarity with remote sensing data and its integration into GIS workflows is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for a remote environment.
