Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Golf Course Superintendent to manage and maintain world-class golf courses from a remote capacity, serving multiple locations across the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive agronomic plans, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest management strategies.
- Oversee course maintenance budgets, controlling expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage and mentor regional course managers, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to standards.
- Utilise remote monitoring technology and data analysis to track course conditions and performance.
- Implement sustainable practices to protect the environment and enhance course sustainability.
- Collaborate with club management and committees on course improvement projects and long-term planning.
Requirements
- A degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Turfgrass Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Demonstrated success in managing large budgets and complex operational teams remotely.
- Proficiency with modern course management technologies and software.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
