About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive agronomic plans, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest management strategies.
• Oversee course maintenance budgets, controlling expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage and mentor regional course managers, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to standards.
• Utilise remote monitoring technology and data analysis to track course conditions and performance.
• Implement sustainable practices to protect the environment and enhance course sustainability.
• Collaborate with club management and committees on course improvement projects and long-term planning.

Requirements

• A degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Turfgrass Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Demonstrated success in managing large budgets and complex operational teams remotely.
• Proficiency with modern course management technologies and software.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
