Remote Head of Project Management

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and visionary Remote Head of Project Management to lead and scale their project management function. You will be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team of project managers, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust project management frameworks, processes, and tools across the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and successful execution.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for project delivery and monitor progress against them.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define project priorities and resource allocation strategies.
• Drive best practices in risk management, stakeholder communication, and change management for all projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Project Management leadership, with a proven track record of building and scaling PMO functions.
• Deep expertise in multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align project portfolios with strategic goals.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar advanced project management certification is required.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
