About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join their expanding logistics team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fully remote capacity, managing routes and logistics planning from your own home base. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods across various regions, coordinating directly with dispatch and customer service teams. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute HGV Class 1 delivery routes efficiently, optimizing for time and fuel consumption.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects promptly.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed within specified timeframes, maintaining accurate delivery records.
• Adhere to all legal requirements and company policies regarding driving hours, load safety, and traffic regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, logistics coordinators, and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence .
• Current Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver, with a strong understanding of road networks.
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment .
