Remote HR Generalist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a versatile and experienced Remote HR Generalist to join their distributed team, supporting operations and employees across the UK. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will provide comprehensive HR support, managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and delivering effective HR solutions in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HR support and guidance to employees and line managers on a day-to-day basis.
• Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and consistent application of policies.
• Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for all new hires and leavers.
• Support performance management initiatives and facilitate development planning.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company HR policies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives remotely.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Advisor.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in managing employee relations and conducting investigations.
• Excellent virtual communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality in a remote setting.
• CIPD qualification is highly preferred.
