This position is critical for supporting employees across various locations, ensuring consistent HR practices and a positive employee experience, regardless of physical location. You will handle a broad range of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and policy implementation, all within a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for remote employees, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the distributed workforce.
- Handle employee queries, provide guidance on HR matters, and resolve conflicts effectively in a virtual context.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Maintain accurate employee records using HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Facilitate virtual training sessions and contribute to the development of HR resources for remote staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar broad HR role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices, adapted for remote work.
- Proficiency with HRIS software and virtual collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills for remote interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience supporting a remote workforce.
