Remote HR Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Remote HR Specialist to join their expanding, fully remote team. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne , you will be instrumental in supporting various HR functions remotely, ensuring a smooth and efficient employee experience for our distributed workforce. This role requires a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, capable of managing HR operations, employee queries, and HRIS systems from a distance. You will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing HR support and guidance in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across the organisation, operating fully remotely .
• Manage HR administration, including employee records, onboarding processes, and HRIS data integrity.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures relevant to a remote workforce.
• Support recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
• Administer employee benefits programs and respond to benefit-related queries.
• Contribute to HR projects, such as engagement surveys and policy updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role , preferably with remote experience.
• Familiarity with UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and HR software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport virtually.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
