About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and dedicated Remote HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects for their offshore Oil & Gas projects . Working entirely from a remote location, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring robust HSE policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental protection. You will collaborate closely with offshore teams, project managers, and regulatory bodies to foster a strong safety culture and minimize risks. This is a crucial role offering significant impact and autonomy from a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems for offshore projects.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections (remotely coordinated).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and leadership engagement.
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure adherence to sustainability initiatives.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and client representatives on HSE matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the Offshore Oil & Gas industry .
- Proven experience in developing and implementing robust HSE policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations and environmental best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex HSE programs effectively in a remote capacity for projects near Brighton .
