Remote Hygiene Compliance Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Remote Hygiene Compliance Officer to ensure that all cleaning and sanitation standards meet stringent regulatory requirements across their various operational sites. This role is critical for maintaining public health and safety, and it will be performed entirely remotely. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring hygiene policies, conducting virtual audits, and advising teams on best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update hygiene policies and procedures in line with current legislation and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular virtual audits and inspections of cleaning and sanitation operations, identifying non-compliance issues and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and analyze hygiene performance data from various sites, generating reports for senior management.
• Provide expert advice and training remotely to site managers and cleaning staff on compliance requirements and effective sanitation techniques.
• Investigate hygiene-related incidents or complaints, recommending and overseeing corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of changes in health, safety, and environmental regulations affecting cleaning and sanitation services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hygiene Compliance Officer , Health and Safety Officer, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and standards concerning cleaning, sanitation, and public health.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective remote audits and assessments using digital tools and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying critical information clearly and concisely to remote teams.
• A proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement in hygiene standards.
