About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Industrial Automation Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimisation of automated systems for their diverse range of projects. You will be responsible for specifying, programming, and commissioning automation solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability across various industrial settings. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA integration.
• Program and troubleshoot automation equipment and software for optimal performance.
• Specify industrial hardware and software components for new automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and operations personnel, to integrate automated solutions.
• Develop comprehensive testing and validation procedures for all automated systems.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for deployed automation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a related automation field.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting industrial automation systems.
• Strong programming skills in common PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA software.
• Experience with robotic systems and industrial networking protocols is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of process control and manufacturing workflows.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
