About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Industrial Engineer to join their global operations team in a fully remote capacity, supporting various sites including those in Norwich, Norfolk . This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who excels at analyzing complex operational challenges and implementing effective solutions across distributed teams and locations. You will play a key role in driving process improvements, optimizing workflows, and enhancing overall operational efficiency through strategic planning and data-driven insights, all while working from your home office. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and adept at managing projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize global manufacturing processes, workflows, and operational systems from a remote setting.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles and data analytics.
• Conduct virtual assessments of facilities and operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with international teams, suppliers, and stakeholders through virtual communication channels.
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, performance metrics, and improvement plans.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to site-based teams to ensure successful implementation of engineered solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial engineering , with a proven track record of driving operational improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and virtual collaboration tools.
