About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Industrial Engineer to drive Operations Excellence across their organization. This fully remote position focuses on analysing complex business and manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will play a key role in shaping best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, working collaboratively with teams located across different geographies from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and implement strategies and projects aimed at achieving operational excellence, utilizing lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Design and optimize workflows, layouts, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure successful adoption.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of implemented changes.
• Champion the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role with a strong focus on operations excellence and process improvement.
• Proven experience in applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to achieve measurable results.
• Proficiency in process analysis, simulation software, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate remotely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a remote work environment.
