Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize industrial systems, including production lines, material handling systems, and facility layouts, considering efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop detailed process flow diagrams, simulation models, and technical specifications for proposed system designs.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and management, to define system requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, equipment, and software to support system design objectives.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on system design, process optimization, and layout planning.
- Proficiency in CAD software for layout design and simulation tools for system analysis (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic).
- Strong understanding of material flow, ergonomics, and production planning principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex system interactions.
- Effective remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage projects independently.
