Remote Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Remote Industrial Engineer to join their distributed operations team. This role is vital for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing and business processes from a remote setting, driving efficiency and cost savings across the organization. You will leverage digital tools and communication platforms to collaborate with on-site teams, implement improvements, and contribute to the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote analysis of production processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement using digital tools and data.
• Develop and propose process optimization strategies, including Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Create and update process documentation, SOPs, and training materials accessible remotely.
• Collaborate virtually with manufacturing sites, engineering teams, and management to implement approved changes.
• Utilize simulation software and data analytics platforms to model and assess process improvements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) remotely and report on progress and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong emphasis on process analysis and optimization.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with process simulation software, data analysis tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Slack).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
