Remote Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes, workflows, and plant layouts to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement optimized production systems, material handling solutions, and workplace layouts.
• Develop and apply mathematical models, engineering principles, and computational methods to predict and improve system performance.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work times and improve labor productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process changes.
• Utilize simulation software to model and test process improvements before implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering , preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process mapping, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and CAD tools is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in a remote setting.
