Remote Installation & Commissioning Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support their clients nationwide, including those in the Oxford area. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from your home office and provide expert guidance on product setup and initial operation. You will play a key role in ensuring that customers successfully install and commission our client's equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process. Your technical expertise and clear communication will be vital for customer satisfaction and the seamless deployment of our client's solutions across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote guidance for the installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered by customers during setup and initial operation.
• Conduct remote system verification and configuration checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for installation and commissioning processes.
• Collaborate with customer support and product development teams to relay feedback.
• Assist customers in understanding and utilizing the full capabilities of the installed equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in installation , commissioning, or technical support roles, ideally within the Installation & Maintenance sector.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of complex systems.
• Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide non-technical users.
• Proficiency with remote access tools, video conferencing, and support software.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
