About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote Installation Engineer to join their growing team, serving clients across the UK from a remote-based role, ideally situated near Portsmouth for occasional team meetups. This position focuses on the planning, remote configuration, and ongoing support of sophisticated systems and equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for our diverse client base. You will be instrumental in providing expert technical guidance and troubleshooting, acting as a remote technical consultant. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute remote installations and configurations of client systems using specialized software and tools.
• Provide remote technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving installation-related issues and system malfunctions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery from a remote perspective.
• Conduct remote system audits and performance monitoring to ensure client satisfaction and system integrity.
• Stay current with new technologies and product updates to provide the most effective remote support.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Engineer or in a similar remote technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, system configuration, and relevant software platforms .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues remotely.
• Proficiency with remote access tools, ticketing systems, and communication platforms.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
