Our client is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Remote Insurance Business Analyst to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This role is instrumental in driving improvements and innovation within the insurance operations by bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Working entirely from home, you will leverage your expertise to enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and support strategic initiatives. This fully remote position offers a significant opportunity for an experienced analyst to make a substantial impact in the insurance technology space.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders across insurance departments.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements for IT solutions.
- Map current state and design future state business processes related to insurance operations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams.
- Support the testing and implementation phases of new systems and process improvements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and the technology teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst , preferably within the insurance industry .
- Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and systems (e.g., core insurance platforms, CRM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in business process modeling (BPM) and requirements documentation techniques.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a remote team environment and managing tasks independently.
