About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Insurance Claims Handler to join their expanding team. This role is entirely remote, offering flexibility and the convenience of working from home while managing a caseload of insurance claims. You will be responsible for processing claims efficiently and empathetically, ensuring policyholders receive timely and fair settlements. Your ability to communicate clearly, investigate effectively, and manage administrative tasks will be vital to providing excellent service and upholding the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, record, and process insurance claims from policyholders and third parties.
• Investigate claims by gathering information, reviewing policy details, and assessing liability.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties throughout the claims process.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and ensure timely payment of valid claims.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activities and decisions within the claims management system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a claims handling , customer service, or administrative role, ideally within insurance.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and standard office software.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and maintain a professional demeanor in a remote setting.
