About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a talented Remote Insurance Data Analyst to bolster their analytics capabilities, working entirely from a home-based location. This position is key to driving informed business decisions through the rigorous analysis of insurance data. You will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform underwriting, pricing, product development, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical acumen, a deep understanding of statistical methods, and the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders across the organization, operating within a fully remote framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources.
• Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the insurance portfolio.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and insights for management.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and marketing teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to predict future outcomes and inform strategic planning.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy, implementing data quality checks and validation processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python/R, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is highly advantageous.
