About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Remote Insurance Risk Analyst to join their growing team. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and quantifying potential risks across the company's insurance portfolio, developing strategies to mitigate these risks, and ensuring financial stability. This role is critical for informed decision-making and requires a strong quantitative background, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and quantify insurance risks across various product lines and markets.
- Develop and implement risk models and analytical tools to forecast potential losses.
- Monitor key risk indicators and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to inform pricing and reserving strategies.
- Advise on risk mitigation strategies and best practices for operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in risk management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Risk Analyst , preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong quantitative skills, with expertise in statistical modeling and data analysis.
- Proficiency in risk management software, databases, and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, adaptable for remote communication.
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
