Remote IT Support Apprentice

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically inclined Remote IT Support Apprentice to join their IT department. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You will provide essential technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with IT infrastructure maintenance. This apprenticeship provides a comprehensive learning experience in IT support, networking, and cybersecurity, preparing you for a successful career in the technology sector. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users via remote channels (phone, email, chat).
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Assist with user account management and access control.
• Document support requests, solutions, and technical procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
• Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Strong interest in IT and a passion for technology.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a remote context.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications are a plus.
