Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and statistical analyses for energy-related datasets.
• Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from diverse sources to prepare them for analysis.
• Develop predictive models for energy demand forecasting, asset performance, and grid stability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to translate business needs into data science problems and solutions.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record in the energy sector or a related analytical domain.
• Expertise in Python or R, including libraries for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and machine learning (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong experience with SQL and working with large-scale databases and data warehousing solutions.
