Remote Lead Software Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and forward-thinking Remote Lead Software Project Manager to drive the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements elicitation and architectural planning to successful deployment and maintenance, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple software development projects simultaneously, from inception through to release and post-deployment support.
• Facilitate Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring team efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and development teams to define project scope, technical requirements, and user stories.
• Oversee the management of the software backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features and functionalities.
• Identify, track, and mitigate software development risks, impediments, and dependencies impacting project timelines.
• Foster a collaborative and productive remote team environment, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering department.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software project management , with a significant portion in a lead or senior role.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects using Agile methodologies.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and modern development practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for managing remote, high-performing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
