Remote Learning Platform Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Remote Learning Platform Manager to lead their virtual education initiatives. This is a fully remote position, based in Glasgow , responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and ongoing management of the company's online learning environment. You will ensure a seamless, engaging, and effective digital learning experience for all users, working closely with technical teams, content creators, and stakeholders to drive innovation and adoption of best practices in online education. This role is critical to scaling our client's educational reach and impact globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic direction and operational management of the company's Learning Management System (LMS) and other digital learning platforms.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop and curate high-quality online courses and learning materials.
• Manage the technical aspects of the platform, including user administration, system updates, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance user engagement, accessibility, and overall learner experience in a remote setting.
• Analyse platform data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in online learning, e-learning, and educational technology to drive continuous innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Project Management, or a related field. Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing learning platforms (LMS), preferably in a remote or distributed environment.
• Strong technical proficiency with various LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and related e-learning tools.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, stakeholder management, and vendor relations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for online education.
