Remote Logistics Analyst

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a data-driven and analytical Remote Logistics Analyst to support their expanding operations. Based entirely remotely, you will play a crucial role in analyzing supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This position requires a strong aptitude for data interpretation, proficiency in analytical tools, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual team environment. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data, including transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels, to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement data-driven improvements in logistics operations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes to logistics strategies and infrastructure.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to optimize supply chain performance.
• Prepare presentations and summaries of findings and recommendations for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within supply chain or operations.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Experience in modeling and forecasting supply chain performance.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage tasks in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
