About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to oversee their transportation operations. This position is fully remote, allowing you to manage dispatch activities from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. You will be responsible for coordinating drivers, planning routes, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods across the country. Your role will be vital in maintaining delivery schedules and optimizing operational efficiency for our client's logistics network, contributing to seamless service delivery throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily dispatch operations, assigning routes and vehicles to drivers remotely.
• Monitor real-time tracking of vehicles and deliveries, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing clear instructions and support throughout their shifts.
• Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency, reduce transit times, and minimize fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, deliveries, and driver activities using dispatch software.
• Liaise with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics coordination or dispatch role, ideally in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with dispatch management software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent understanding of transportation logistics, route planning, and scheduling.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a dedicated home office space with stable high-speed internet access.
