About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to join their distributed operations team, supporting our Birmingham -based logistics network. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the coordination of shipments, tracking inventory, and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods across various locations. You will act as a key liaison between suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, utilizing digital tools to maintain optimal supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery.
• Track the status of shipments and inventory levels, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities, including shipment details, costs, and delivery times.
• Utilize logistics software and digital platforms to optimize routes and manage transportation efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the remote logistics operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or administrative support role.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
