Remote Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee their transportation and delivery operations from anywhere. This position is critical for optimizing supply chain efficiency, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and clients. You will leverage technology and communication tools to coordinate shipments, track progress, and resolve any logistical challenges that arise. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing routes and modes of transport.
• Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Track shipments in real-time, providing timely updates to stakeholders and resolving delays proactively.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs forms.
• Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless coordination of goods movement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator , Dispatcher, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and transportation regulations.
• Proficiency with logistics software, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and general office productivity suites.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting .
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
