Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to join their distributed operations team. You will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring efficient transportation, and maintaining clear communication channels with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments, all from the comfort of your home office. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-efficiency.
• Liaise with transportation providers to negotiate rates, schedule pickups, and resolve any transit issues.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation and update shipment status in the company's tracking systems.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to provide shipment updates and resolve logistical challenges.
• Proactively identify and address potential delays or disruptions in the supply chain.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of transportation modes and logistics principles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve in a remote setting.
