Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of goods.
• Track shipments in real-time, providing updates to internal teams and customers as needed.
• Negotiate rates and manage relationships with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Resolve logistical issues and customer complaints promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, costs, and delivery times within the company's systems.
• Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of shipping and logistics operations, including different modes of transport.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and general computer applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with carriers and internal teams.
