About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Operations Specialist to manage and optimize their shipping and fulfillment processes from anywhere in the UK. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including waybills and customs forms, using digital tools.
• Act as the primary point of contact for carriers and logistics partners, negotiating rates and tracking shipments via online portals and communication platforms.
• Proactively identify and resolve logistical issues, providing clear and timely updates to internal teams and customers.
• Assist in the development and implementation of digital strategies to optimize transportation routes and modes.
• Maintain detailed records of all logistics activities and expenditures within the company's remote access systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics coordination , supply chain operations, or a related role, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong understanding of shipping procedures, documentation, and international trade compliance.
• Proficiency in using logistics software, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Teams, Asana).
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across distributed teams.
