About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Planner to join their distributed operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of goods across various channels, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness from your home office. You will collaborate virtually with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients to manage the end-to-end logistics process, leveraging technology to maintain visibility and control. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote role, ideal for an experienced logistics professional who excels in a virtual environment and is passionate about streamlining supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed logistics plans for inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing routes and modes of transport.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transit and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor shipment progress using tracking systems and proactively address any disruptions or delays.
• Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external partners via virtual channels.
• Ensure all logistics documentation is accurate, complete, and filed appropriately.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Planner , Supply Chain Planner, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations and practices.
• Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and remote collaboration tools .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships virtually.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting .
